Start Phantom Burner
Switch to the "Operations" tab.
Click on the "Create" button.
Phantom Burner will prompt you for the location of the disc image file.
Make sure the "disc type" is set to "DVD+RW".
The "Convert data disc to ISO format" option tells Phantom Burner to use ISO as data disc image format. ISO is a standard format which is supported by many software. For this tutorial, uncheck this option. Phantom Burner will create the image as its own "VDD" format.
Enter the disc image file name and click "Save".
Install and Nero Express.
Select "Data" on the left, and "Data DVD" on the right.
You will be given the Disc Content window, showing a blank list right now.
Click "Add..." button.
Browse to the files you want to burn.
Click Add to add the files to the CD layout.
Click the "Next" button at the lower right corner.
Select "PHANTOM BURNER" as the burner on the next dialog.
Click the "Burn" button. Nero Express will start burning.
And the burning will soon complete.
As the disc is burned successfully, now we can mount the virtual disc in Windows Explorer, like a regular DVD.
Go to Phantom Burner dialog again.
If you used a real burner, you will have to eject the disc first, then mount it. It is the same with Phantom Burner.
First, click the "Eject" button to eject the "disc".
Then click "Mount Last Image" to mount the image we juse created.
Now, when you go back to Windows Explorer, you will see the DVD available. You can double-click to see its content.
